Experimental building
The experimental and demonstration building of environmentally advanced development (passive) at Pikovice is of single-family house type with a progressive layout and operation design. The building is able to completely perform the function of individual housing; however, during its anticipated operation after the completion and official approval of the building, it will be mainly used for study, research, information and educational purposes, focusing on versatile environmentally advanced principles, methods and technologies of residential development, structural engineering and building design. In the course of the study, research, information and educational operation of the building, its residential function will be maintained in the so-called „inner house“. For the study, information and educational purposes, the studio and the “interspace/indoor garden” will be used.
